I can put up with banner ads, after all, nothing is free. I can put up wit pop-up ads as a little extra software solves that problem. I can put up with inline ads; I just scroll past them. I dislike splash screen ads and usually won't return to that site.

I despise however, banner/inline ads with sound. Sure, they all have mute buttons but the sound is enabled by default, each time you visit/refresh/navigate through that page.

I have speakers on my pc at work and leave them on. They are important for email notification and other stuff that software likes to beep and blart at me. I hate it when I go to read a page and it plays a happy jingle or some stupid sound effects, not to mention that it's costing me in transfer fees.

So, FUCK YOU.
