Crap. Bad sectors on the Warez drive on the server. Why can't I ever get bad sectors on the Raid-5 array (that can handle it fine)? So that means I was down all yesterday. No warez for mee. I've repaired the drive (too 4 hours) but usually once you get a few sectors going french, the rest follow soon.

Went out Sat night to a BBQ at a mate's apartment in the city. Started raining a bit so we went inside and listened to 'Dark side of the moon'. Yay. Was driving so couldn't get blotto.

Went out Sun night to a meat at a pub in Fitzroy. Chatted and stuff. Went home. Was driving so couldn't get blotto.

Put in to get Friday off (I have 26 days annual leave available). That will make it a 4 day weekend which should be nice. I can go visit my parents and come back Sun night (ergo avoiding the traffic) and still have a day of rest.

Planning to change the gearbox oil this weekend (Dad has all the stuff I need except oil and filter). I'll see if that helps the roughness of the gearbox. I noticed last time I checked that it was overful of oil (like over the hot mark even when cold) which could be the problem (I hope it is). Auto gearboxes are touchy about oil level. Then again, apparently overfilling a gearbox is a trick used car salesmen use to cover any major problems. Bastards.
